I received my BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK in 2016. I then received my MSc in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems in 2017 at the University of Leeds, UK. I am currently working towards my PhD also at the University of Leeds.
I work in the area of the control and operation of Smart Energy Systems and aim to make future low-inertia grids more resilient to disturbances using the controllability of HVDC technologies. My current research interests include:
- HVDC technologies
- Power system dynamics, stability and control
- Renewable energy integration
- The development of future cyber-physical power systems
